A 9 Day Keto Chow Tasting Journey

I started Keto on July 6, 2020, after topping out at nearly 300lbs. Over the next year, I lost about 100lbs and got below 200 for the first time in probably 20 years. During that time I would often see ads for Keto Chow, I always dismissed it as some gimmicky thing that I didn’t need.  I was doing just fine without it.

What is Keto Chow?

It’s a nutritionally complete meal designed to make doing keto easy.

Keto Chow is a meal replacement shake that is keto-friendly. It is like a flavored protein powder that includes 1/3 of your daily nutrients in a single serving. Where it differs from other protein or meal replacement shakes you add your own fat to Keto Chow.  This allows you to pick which fat you want to use such as butter, heavy cream, or avocado oil and add the amount that meets your specific needs. I prefer a mix of butter and heavy cream.

How I learned about Keto Chow

I’ve been watching various YouTube channels over the last year and trying various “keto” products. Many are good, some are just not for me. One of the channels I follow is 2 Krazy Ketos, I’m linking to their website since they have additional resources there. Joe and Rachel do various videos and talk about Keto Chow and how they use it in more ways than just a shake. When they announced they had helped develop the new Caramel Macchiato flavor I decided I would finally give it a try. I started with a Starter Bundle in June and haven’t looked back.  Over the last 3 months, I have placed 8 orders and tried various flavors.

Keto Chow offers both savory and sweet flavors. Combined there are about 30 different flavors and they frequently introduce new flavors or offer limited-time flavors. I have tasted a good number of these flavors, but not all of them. This brings us to my challenge.  I have decided to do 3 different shakes a day until I work my way through all the sweet flavors. The one caveat is that I will likely be skipping banana, as I despise bananas with every fiber of my being.
